Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for early warning signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop quantitative models for credit scoring and risk prediction
- Present complex financial findings to senior leadership clearly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and ratio interpretation
- Familiarity with credit risk software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, FICO)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
