Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to evaluate loan applications
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for underwriting committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure competitive financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations, economic trends, and credit policies
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling
- Proficiency in credit scoring systems and underwriting software
- Strong Excel skills with advanced formula knowledge
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Series 7 or 63/66 license preferred
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
