Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of loan applications, financial statements, tax returns, and banking references.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential clients to minimize risk and maximize asset quality.
- Prepare and present detailed credit memos and recommendations to the credit committee.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify delinquencies or trends requiring attention.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to facilitate smooth deal closures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and internal underwriting guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
