What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Analyze credit applications and financial statements to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and determine appropriate credit limits.
- Calculate key financial ratios and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for clients.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present findings to the credit committee for final approval.
- Maintain and update accurate credit files and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of default and recommend strategies for mitigation.
- Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to ensure a streamlined loan approval process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with all policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and credit analysis software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
