Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with 3-way matching protocols
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support audit preparation with documentation and schedule maintenance
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Analyze financial data for variance reporting and trend identification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with public or private sector exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
