Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries
- Generate financial statements and reports for management review
- Support audits by providing documentation and explaining accounting practices
- Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems for financial data management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
