Responsibilities
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance policies for financial products
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across all departments
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Train staff on AML, BSA, and state/federal financial regulations
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory agencies during examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years compliance experience in financial services
- Strong knowledge of California financial regulations (DFPI, DBO)
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred
- Proficient with compliance software (e.g., ComplySci, Adenza)
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
