Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal/state regulations (e.g., BSA, AML, OFAC)
- Develop, implement, and update compliance policies/procedures
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
- Train staff on compliance protocols and regulatory changes
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with legal and senior leadership on compliance strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in finance
- Industry certifications (CRCM, CAMS, or CCEP preferred)
- Deep knowledge of banking regulations and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with compliance software (e.g., ComplyAdvantage, Dow Jones)
