Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with federal/state regulations (AML, BSA, OFAC)
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and update compliance policies
- Investigate potential violations and prepare regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with legal, audit, and business teams on compliance initiatives
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Document compliance activities and maintain audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years compliance/regulatory experience in financial services
- Certifications (CRCM, CAMS, or CCEP) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state banking regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Experience with compliance software and reporting tools
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
