Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop, update, and communicate compliance policies and procedures to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
- Investigate alleged policy violations and recommend corrective action plans.
- Provide comprehensive training to employees on compliance requirements and ethical standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of compliance activities and audit findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs role.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, or state-specific laws).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and technical documents.
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits and preparing audit reports.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
