Responsibilities
- Monitor Regulatory Changes: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal compliance regulations to ensure our business practices remain legally sound.
- Conduct Internal Audits: Perform regular reviews of operations and financial reporting to identify potential risks and gaps in compliance.
- Develop Policies: Draft, implement, and update internal compliance policies and procedures to address emerging risks.
- Staff Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compliance standards and ethical conduct.
- Investigations: Lead investigations into any suspected violations of company policy or law.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance, auditing, or risk management role.
- Certifications: Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations simply.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
