Responsibilities
- Monitor, interpret, and implement federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances to ensure the company's compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changing regulations.
- Coordinate with legal counsel and external auditors to ensure full regulatory adherence.
- Train staff and management on compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies and internal leadership.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance violations or irregularities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs role.
- Experience with FINRA, SEC regulations, or similar financial compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal laws governing financial services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
