Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit company activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and update internal policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management.
- Train employees on compliance requirements, regulations, and internal policies through workshops and documentation.
- Investigate violations of company policy or regulatory standards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with legal and internal teams to interpret complex regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
