Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations to ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local compliance laws.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of detailed compliance reports and audit documentation.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of internal policies to identify potential areas of risk.
- Communicate complex compliance requirements to non-technical staff members clearly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities and regulatory changes.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on industry standards.
- Collaborate with the legal department to address and resolve compliance issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
