Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in operational procedures.
- Monitor changes in gaming and financial legislation to ensure the organization remains up-to-date and compliant.
- Prepare and submit detailed compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Train and educate employees on compliance policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate internal complaints and potential violations of company policy or law.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing within the hospitality or gaming industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Nevada Gaming Commission regulations and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly to non-technical staff.
