Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and interpret complex federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational alignment.
- Develop, implement, and update comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies.
- Train employees on compliance protocols, ethical standards, and reporting mechanisms.
- Investigate internal discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal auditing.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
