Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, FDA, HIPAA).
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of the organization and Nashville market.
- Monitor changes in legislation and proactively advise leadership on potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations using a data-driven approach and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and reporting cycles.
- Provide regular training and workshops for employees to foster a culture of compliance across all departments.
- Manage the equipment lifecycle to ensure all compliance tools and reporting hardware are up-to-date and functional.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Health, or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, risk management, or a related regulatory role.
- Certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CFEA, or CRMA are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to business operations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing reports and presenting to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel occasionally to manufacturing sites or client locations within Tennessee.
