Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise management on necessary changes to internal practices.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and non-conformities identified during audits.
- Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to senior management and external regulatory bodies.
- Train employees on compliance policies and procedures to foster a culture of integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including SEC, FINRA, or HIPAA depending on the sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
