Responsibilities
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Train staff on compliance requirements and best practices
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal and other departments to address compliance concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or a related role
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA, AML)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software
