Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (FINRA, SEC, state banking laws) to update compliance frameworks
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for banking/lending operations
- Develop and implement compliance policies/procedures with 100% audit readiness
- Train staff on AML, BSA, and Fair Lending regulations through interactive workshops
- Manage regulatory reporting to state/federal authorities with zero tolerance for delays
- Lead investigations of compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (JD or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years compliance experience in financial services or banking
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation required
- Expert knowledge of federal/state banking regulations and BSA/AML protocols
- Advanced proficiency in compliance software (e.g., ComplySci, Wolters Kluwer)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience creating compliance dashboards
- Strong written/verbal communication for regulatory reporting and training
