Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise management on necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and submit detailed compliance reports to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Train employees on compliance standards and regulatory updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of California state regulations and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFE) is a plus.
