Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive compliance programs aligned with FINRA, SEC, and Alaska state regulations
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to ensure adherence to all applicable laws
- Train staff on compliance policies and regulatory updates through targeted workshops
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions to senior management
- Stay current on evolving financial regulations through continuous research and industry networking
- Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex compliance challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of compliance experience in financial services or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulatory frameworks (especially FINRA/SEC)
- Proven experience developing compliance policies and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate requirements clearly
- Professional certification (CRCM, CAMS, or CCEP) highly desirable
- Valid Alaska driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
