Responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
- Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures to mitigate organizational risk.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising management on necessary adjustments to business practices.
- Train employees on compliance protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards through workshops and documentation.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and external regulatory bodies.
- Investigate potential violations, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and legal counsel to facilitate smooth external reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and relevant industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
