Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Process payroll accurately on a weekly basis for all employees.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation and year-end audits as required.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong time management skills.
