Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and tax preparation support.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
