Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations
- Assist with tax preparation and audits
- Implement financial controls and improve processes
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CPA firms for compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with multi-state accounting preferred
