Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with a focus on timely invoicing and payment.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation.
- Maintain and organize accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and status updates.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.
