As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients' financial health through precise record-keeping and reporting. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a generous 401(k) matching program.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with a focus on strict compliance and timely distribution.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is essential.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
