Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Process payroll on a weekly basis for all employees.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
- Maintain and organize accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation and filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
