Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable
- Process payroll and ensure timely weekly payments to employees
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Generate monthly financial reports and budget analyses
- Manage expense tracking and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Assist with audits and financial audits preparation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet weekly payment deadlines consistently
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) a plus
- San Jose Bay Area residency preferred
