Responsibilities
- Process weekly accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements for the weekend period.
- Update and maintain general ledger accounts using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax documents and year-end audits.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Assist the finance team with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
