We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and maintain the financial integrity of our clients' accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices and bills are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved immediately.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for employees accurately and in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are properly documented.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with clients and team members.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
