Role Overview:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. You will work closely with our finance leadership to provide insightful reporting and maintain healthy cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision and timeliness.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records match.
- Payroll: Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports for management review.
- Vendor Management: Process invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and communicate with vendors.
- Tax Support: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and excellent Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
