Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Process payroll for all employees in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and financial audits.
- Monitor and maintain inventory records as necessary.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation (e.g., payroll taxes, 1099s) is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
