Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage vendor accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
- Daily Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring all deductions and tax calculations are correct.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and summaries for management review.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update the company’s accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and spreadsheets.
- Invoice Management: Generate and send invoices to clients while following up on outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the finance team.
