Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a daily basis.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and payments are made on time.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports and reconciliation packages.
- Perform daily cash management tasks and monitor cash flow projections.
- Support the month-end close process by verifying data integrity and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general accounting practices.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with high attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
