Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to manage financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (1-3 years minimum).
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and vendors.
