What You Will Do:
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll data and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support the tax preparation team with necessary documentation and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
