Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are recorded and payments are made on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including trial balances and financial statements.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Perform regular bank and credit card audits to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
