Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Process and verify weekly payroll accurately for all staff members.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.</li><li>Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and prepare financial statements.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.</li><li>Perform financial data entry and invoice processing with high precision.</li><li>Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Experience with payroll systems is a plus.</li></ul>
