Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Process payroll accurately using [Software Name] and ensure tax filings are up to date.
- Perform regular audits of financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
