Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax filings and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
