Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings (1099s, W2s).
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general accounting practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
