In this role, you will take ownership of our client’s financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Process payroll using [Software Name] and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Maintain and organize financial records, including receipts, invoices, and tax documents.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
