Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and general ledger entries.
- Process payroll for multiple employees and ensure tax filings are accurate and submitted timely.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Update and maintain fixed asset schedules and expense tracking systems.
- Collaborate with clients and external auditors to provide necessary financial documentation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero (Must be proficient).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
