We are currently seeking a highly detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our expanding finance team. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and payments collected promptly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Respond to employee and vendor inquiries regarding financial matters.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
