Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid work environment.
