Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses and analyze financial data.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA, CMA, or AA certification is a plus but not required.
