We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in San Diego. Key Responsibilities:
As our Bookkeeper, you will manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, ensuring that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations. You will work closely with our accounting team to streamline workflows and provide actionable financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple employees accurately and on a bi-weekly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to track expenses and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general accounting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proven track record of error-free data entry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
