Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including trial balances and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Collaborate with the finance manager to improve bookkeeping procedures and workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
